Quiet for Carl

Hear ye, Hear ye!

On this date Sunday, February 2, 2014 at 2:15.

Hear this:

From the area south of the Great Erie Lake,

From the area north of the well-traveled Interstate 80,

East to the borders of Crawford County to Titusville

And west across Interstate 79 to the bordering state of Ohio.

Cochranton Carl’s predictions come from a highly sophisticated method of folklore that has been passed down through the ages from seventh son to seventh son.

Cochranton Carl expresses his gratitude to the Cochranton Area Public Library for allowing him to reside at the Library.  As an avid reader he wants to encourage humans of all ages to use the Library that is closest to them. Please consider this quote from Diane Duane, “Reading one book is like eating one potato chip.”

According to Carl, he tells me that he has had a fitful rest and is very pleased to be in attendance today. He realizes that this Winter has been an unusually snowy time. Carl says to remember that we are officially half way through winter as of today.

He congratulates Phil and all the other national groundhogs on another successful Groundhogs Day.

Cochranton Carl proclaims he saw his shadow there will be six more weeks of winter.
